Shah Rukh Khan’s UNIFYD Festival Comes to Abu Dhabi
Khan is overseeing the festival’s artistic direction and creative vision. Speaking about the event, he said music has “that same extraordinary power” to bring people together, adding that “the festival promises to be a true spectacle in terms of its scale, energy and grandeur.”
UNIFYD is produced by D’YAVOL Live and District, in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Tourism – Abu Dhabi and Miral, and in association with Emirates NBD. Abu Dhabi is hosting the first edition, and the organizers plan to take the festival to other cities and international markets after its debut.
“Indian music is already global,” said Bunty Singh, co-founder of D’YAVOL Live. “UNIFYD gives that cultural force a festival platform that matches its scale, ambition and influence,” he said.
