Police said the case came to light after the operations room received a report of a suspected crime inside a residential apartment. Specialized teams were immediately dispatched to the scene, where they began examining the circumstances, collecting evidence, and following leads to identify those involved.
The investigation was handled by the General Department of Criminal Security and Ports Affairs, whose teams worked to identify and locate the suspect within a short period. Officers combined forensic work, intelligence gathering, and advanced data analysis to piece together the evidence collected from the scene.
Brigadier Dr. Khalifa Balhai, Director of the Criminal Investigation Department at Sharjah Police, said investigations revealed that the suspect was known to the two sisters and that a dispute had developed between them before the killings. He said the suspect confessed to the crime after being confronted with the evidence gathered by investigators.
The case has been referred to the Public Prosecution for further investigation, and legal measures have been taken against the suspect in line with the law.
