UAE Daily Life Continues as Normal, NCEMA Reports

The Supreme Council for National Security confirms business continuity plans are active, education is running, and between 200 and 300 flights will operate to support stranded travelers.

The UAE government has confirmed that daily life across the country is continuing as normal, with all vital sectors fully operational and comprehensive contingency plans in place. The announcement came during the official UAE Government Media Briefing issued by the National Emergency Crisis and Disaster Management Authority (NCEMA) on March 3, 2026.

The briefing emphasized that the country's response reflects years of sustained preparation and forward-looking leadership, with officials praising the awareness and responsibility shown by citizens and residents alike.

Business continuity plans have been activated as a precautionary measure to ensure the readiness of vital sectors, with operational alternatives in place across the board. The education sector is running without interruption through remote learning systems, ensuring students across the country remain unaffected.

To support individuals stranded within the country, the government has prepared a comprehensive operational plan covering travel movement. Between 200 and 300 flights will be operated in the coming period on a structured schedule designed to ensure safe and smooth departures. The government has also reaffirmed its commitment to providing all stranded individuals with accommodation, subsistence support, necessary visas, and transportation services.

A high level of national coordination and operational readiness is in place to manage air traffic under the current exceptional circumstances.

UAE National Media Cell and Early Warning System Activated for Public Guidance

The joint National Media Cell has been activated around the clock, with participation from all relevant entities, to deliver a proactive media strategy providing the public with timely guidance and clear instructions throughout the current situation.

The Early Warning System has also been deployed to issue immediate alerts. Authorities stressed the importance of taking these warnings seriously and following all instructions strictly. The government's message to the public is direct: community awareness and commitment are fundamental to maintaining reassurance and stability, and the public is a key partner in the national preparedness framework.

Officials noted that the unity demonstrated by UAE citizens and residents has been a strong reflection of the awareness built over years of sustained national effort. This preparedness, they said, is the outcome of forward-looking leadership that has established a national model built on solidarity in the face of any challenge.

Residents are reminded to rely only on official sources for updates, follow all early warning alerts immediately, and avoid sharing unverified content online.
