Pakistani fashion designer Zainab Chottani is set to make her Paris runway debut on October 2, 2026, as part of an international fashion programme organised by MODA Productions.
According to the event invitation, Chottani will present her work at Hôtel de Maisons, located at 51 rue de l’Université in Paris. She will be featured alongside designers including Fjolla Nila, ALmée and Levörchy as part of the MODA Productions showcase.
The Paris presentation marks a new international appearance for Chottani, whose fashion house has developed its identity around Pakistani craftsmanship, particularly bridal couture. Over the years, the label has expanded its collections to include formalwear, luxury prêt and contemporary designs.
Founded by Chottani, the fashion house combines traditional Pakistani design techniques with contemporary silhouettes. Its portfolio includes bridal ensembles as well as gowns, lehengas, ghararas, sarees, jackets and ready-to-wear pieces. The label’s collections feature embroidery and traditional craftsmanship alongside a range of fabrics used in South Asian couture.
Chottani’s work in bridal fashion spans more than a decade. Her first catwalk appearance took place in 2009, after which she participated in fashion platforms including Fashion Pakistan Week and Bridal Couture Week. Her bridal designs have also appeared in Pakistani television dramas, bringing her work to audiences beyond the fashion industry.
The designer’s collections have incorporated a variety of traditional techniques, including hand embroidery, block printing, gota and kiran work. Fabrics used across her collections include organza, raw silk, chiffon and net. These techniques and materials form part of the design language that the label has developed while moving across couture, formalwear and prêt categories.
Chottani has also presented collections at other Pakistani fashion platforms. At TEXPO 2024, for example, her AURA collection drew inspiration from Kantha embroidery and incorporated the Tree of Life motif into pieces including shirts, asymmetrical tops, jackets and co-ords.
The Paris showcase is being organised by MODA Productions, which describes itself as an international fashion week association. The organisation produces fashion showcases intended to connect designers with the wider fashion industry, with activities including designer presentations, press exposure, buyer access and industry networking. The organisation was founded and is led by Tracy Murray and has previously staged designer presentations in Paris, including at Hôtel de Maisons.
Chottani’s appearance will place her work within an international lineup of designers while presenting elements of Pakistani couture and craftsmanship to an audience in Paris. Her participation comes as the designer’s label continues to operate across bridal couture, formalwear and luxury prêt.
The October 2 presentation will therefore add a Paris showcase to Chottani’s existing record of runway appearances in Pakistan. The event invitation identifies the Hôtel de Maisons as the venue and MODA Productions’ international fashion programme as the platform for her Paris debut.
