Apple TV is now available to iCloud+ subscribers in Pakistan at no additional cost.
Apple TV has officially launched in Pakistan, giving local users access to the streaming service as part of the company’s paid iCloud+ subscription. The rollout began on September 16, with iCloud+ subscribers in the country now able to open Apple TV and Apple Arcade at no additional cost.
The launch is part of a wider global expansion. According to Broadband TV News, Apple is bringing Apple TV to 59 additional countries, taking the service’s international footprint to 170 markets. The move forms part of a broader restructuring of Apple’s subscription services across more than 100 countries and territories, where Apple TV and Apple Arcade are being added to paid iCloud+ plans at no extra charge.
Eddy Cue, Apple’s senior vice president of Services and Health, said the company was bringing Apple TV and Apple Arcade to iCloud+ users in over 100 countries in one subscription. The new arrangement is being introduced progressively through the end of September, which is why access has appeared for Pakistani users in stages.
Apple TV and Apple Arcade Now Bundled With iCloud+ in Pakistan
For subscribers in Pakistan, the change arrives with no increase in price. Existing iCloud+ plans keep their current monthly rates, and both Apple TV and Apple Arcade are now included automatically. Local reports confirm that a 50GB iCloud+ plan still costs 200 rupees per month, while the 2TB plan remains 2,500 rupees per month.
Apple’s official iCloud+ page now lists Pakistan among the countries covered by the update. Many users received an email from Apple confirming the expanded benefits, and account settings began showing Apple TV and Apple Arcade as active for those already subscribed to a paid iCloud+ tier.
Beyond streaming, iCloud+ includes a set of storage and privacy features. These cover iCloud Private Relay, Hide My Email, Custom Email Domain, and HomeKit Secure Video support. Subscribers can also share a single iCloud+ plan, along with its Apple TV and Apple Arcade access, with up to five other family members while keeping their individual accounts and libraries separate.
Apple TV Rollout Follows Months of Testing in Pakistan
The full launch follows several weeks in which Apple’s billing system for the service appeared in Pakistan before streaming was switched on. In late August, users reported being able to subscribe to Apple TV using Pakistan-region Apple accounts for 200 rupees per month, with successful payment confirmations, even though the service could not yet be streamed directly without a workaround.
That phased approach, in which Apple activated its billing infrastructure ahead of full streaming access, has now given way to a working service tied to iCloud+. The Rs200 monthly entry point that surfaced during testing matches the price of the 50GB iCloud+ plan that now carries the bundled services.
The expansion also comes shortly after Apple strengthened its local presence. Salman Dar was appointed as Apple’s Head of Government Affairs for Pakistan in September, a role reported to involve advocating for wider service accessibility in the country. The timing points to Apple deepening its footprint in South Asia as device use and demand for streaming continue to rise among Pakistani users.
