Indian Expat in Sharjah Wins Dh5 Million in UAE Lottery

An Indian expatriate living in Sharjah has won Dh5 million in the UAE Lottery’s Lucky Day draw after using the Easy Pick option to generate his numbers. The 59-year-old winner, identified as Kishore, secured the second prize in the draw held on October 3, 2026, after matching all six numbers in the Days section.

According to reports published on October 14, Kishore purchased his winning ticket for Dh50 through the UAE Lottery’s official platform. His win marks another second-prize victory since the Lucky Day game introduced its revised prize structure.

Kishore initially found it difficult to believe that he had won Dh5 million after seeing his name reported in the news. He subsequently logged into his lottery account to verify the result and confirm that the prize was real.

“I saw my name in the news, but I couldn’t believe it was me. Then I checked my account and realized it was true!” Kishore said, according to Gulf News.

The winner had used the Easy Pick feature, which automatically generates lottery numbers for participants instead of requiring them to select numbers manually.

His ticket matched all six numbers drawn in the Days section, making him eligible for the Dh5 million second prize.

The Lucky Day draw took place on Saturday, October 3, with the winning numbers announced during a live broadcast.

According to Khaleej Times, the winning numbers in the Days section were 4, 5, 12, 14, 17 and 18. The additional Lucky Number was 10.

Kishore matched all six Days numbers, qualifying him for the second prize of Dh5 million. The top prize of Dh30 million requires participants to match all six Days numbers as well as the additional Lucky Number.

The distinction between the two prize categories means that matching all six Days numbers is sufficient to win the second prize, even when the additional number does not match.

The Dh5 million award represents one of the major prizes available through the lottery’s Lucky Day game.

Following Kishore’s win, the UAE Lottery’s Lucky Day game continues to offer a grand prize of Dh30 million. The lottery holds draws every Wednesday and Saturday at 9:30pm UAE time.

Tickets for upcoming draws are available through the lottery’s official website, subject to its applicable rules and eligibility requirements.

The latest win is the most recent second-prize victory reported since the game’s revised format was introduced across the UAE. The lottery has previously announced other winners of the Dh5 million prize under the same structure.

The UAE Lottery operates under the regulation of the General Commercial Gaming Regulatory Authority (GCGRA), the federal body responsible for overseeing commercial gaming activities in the country.

The authority’s regulatory framework covers licensed commercial gaming activities, while lottery participants must follow the relevant terms and conditions governing each game.

Kishore’s win highlights how the Easy Pick feature can be used to enter the Lucky Day draw without manually selecting numbers. However, the outcome of a lottery draw remains based on chance, and using an automated number-selection feature does not guarantee a prize.

With the Dh30 million grand prize still available following the October 3 draw, the UAE Lottery’s Lucky Day game continues to offer multiple prize categories to eligible participants across the country.
