From candy trails to haunted mazes, these are the family-friendly Halloween events in Dubai and Abu Dhabi this year.
Halloween in the UAE has grown into a proper season, and this year it lines up neatly with the October half-term. Theme parks, play centers and clubhouses across Dubai and Abu Dhabi have turned October into weeks of costumes, candy hunts and character shows, with plenty planned for younger children.
If you’re looking for something to do with the kids that goes beyond a costume party at home, these five events are worth a look.
All of them are aimed at families, and most run until the first weekend of November, so there’s still time to plan a day out.

1. Halloween at LEGOLAND Dubai
LEGOLAND Dubai has handed the park over to its LEGO Monsters until November 2. Children get a Monster Party Activity Card on arrival, which guides them through the day’s challenges.

The biggest draw for younger kids is Brick or Treat, a candy trail run with HARIBO that winds through Factory Street and MINILAND. MINILAND also hosts a ghost hunt, where families follow clues to find ghosts hidden among the miniature landmarks and work out a secret code word.

There are pumpkin builds at Scarecrow’s Pumpkin Patch, crafts with Wacky Witch inside the Craft & Spell Cabin, and a 4D film called “The Great Monster Chase.” The day ends with the V.I.M (Very Important Monsters) Dance Party in MINILAND, led by Lord Vampyre.

Families staying overnight at the LEGOLAND Hotel get extra activities, including Mini Monster Zumba, a pumpkin hunt around the hotel, a PJ party and a LEGO movie night.
When: Until November 2
Price: AED 295 online, AED 330 at the gate. Halloween activities are included in the day ticket.
2. Spooktober at Warner Bros. World Abu Dhabi
Warner Bros. World on Yas Island is running its Spooktober celebrations until November 1, with decorations and surprises across all six of its themed lands.
The main show is Scooby-Doo and the Full Moon Carnival on the Warner Bros. Plaza Stage, which mixes circus acts with a musical finale. Younger guests can join a trick-or-treat candy hunt with Looney Tunes characters in Cartoon Junction, and The Flintstones and The Rubbles are available for photos in Bedrock.
Some favorite attractions, including Scooby-Doo: The Museum of Mysteries and The Joker Funhouse, get a Halloween makeover, and several restaurants are serving limited-time seasonal menus.
When: Until November 1
3. Spooky Sea-son at SeaWorld Yas Island
Next door, SeaWorld Yas Island, Abu Dhabi, is taking a gentler approach to Halloween with its Spooky Sea-son.
Sakina’s Spooky Celebration takes over the One Ocean show, and Spooky Story Time at Naham Theater is followed by character meet-and-greets. Costumed SeaWorld characters appear across the park.
The trick-or-treat trail is a good fit for curious kids. It is built around riddles and clues, and each candy station shares a fact about marine life alongside HARIBO treats. Seasonal desserts are also available at several of the park’s restaurants.
When: Until November 1
4. Halloween Hauntfest at Jumeirah Golf Estates
For families who want to celebrate on Halloween night itself, the clubhouse at Jumeirah Golf Estates in Dubai is hosting its Halloween Hauntfest on October 31 from 5pm.

There’s a haunted maze with zombies, mummies and Frankenstein, plus a zombie makeover area for face paint and costumes. Kids can make pretzel spiders, slime and mummy jars at the craft stations, or head to the bouncy castles and the Mechanical Wipeout. Unlimited popcorn and cotton candy, live entertainment and a Halloween brunch for both children and adults round out the evening.

When: October 31, from 5pm
Price: AED 210 for children aged 5 to 12, free for children under 4. Adults pay AED 390 with soft drinks or AED 575 with house beverages. Advance booking is required.
5. Kids Halloween Party at Gogo Village
Gogo Village on Umm Suqeim Street in Dubai is hosting a Halloween party for children aged 4 to 10, a good option for younger kids who may find bigger events overwhelming.
The party includes a meet-and-greet with Frankenstein, house painting, spooky games and face painting, along with a prize for the best costume. Entry also includes access to the indoor play area.
When: October 25
Price: AED 150
