Dubai residents can now earn over Dh3,000 in hotel, dining and attraction rewards for bringing family and friends to the emirate.
Dubai has launched a rewards programme for residents who bring overseas family and friends to the city.
The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism announced A Dubai Invite on Tuesday. Residents who nominate visiting guests can unlock benefits worth more than Dh3,000, covering hotel stays, dining, attraction tickets and transport.
The programme runs from July 20 to October 31, 2026. Guests must arrive within that window for the resident to qualify.
Noor Al Geziry, AVP for Special Projects and MENA at DET, said the emirate’s resident population has always been among its most trusted ambassadors, with deep knowledge of the destination and the ability to share personal experience with loved ones. The programme is open to Dubai’s resident community of nearly 200 nationalities.
How to Register for A Dubai Invite
Residents must nominate their guests through an online form on the Visit Dubai website before the guests travel. The form requires visitor details and an expected arrival date.
Up to five visitors can be nominated in a single submission. Residents can nominate as many people as they like through additional entries, but each resident can receive a maximum of three reward packages over the course of the campaign.
Each visitor can only be nominated once. If another resident has already registered the same person, later nominations will not qualify.
Khaleej Times reported that the programme is open to UAE citizens and residents aged 18 and above who hold a valid Emirates ID. Nominated visitors must be non-residents of the UAE travelling on a tourist or visit visa, or be eligible for a visa on arrival. Guests can enter Dubai by air, sea or road.
Once the guest arrives, DET verifies the visit through authorised government systems. Residents do not need to notify the department. According to Gulf News, reward emails will be sent within 72 hours of a verified arrival, with rewards issued from August 2026.
Nominations must be submitted by September 30. Most rewards remain valid until December 31, 2026, unless the terms of a specific offer state otherwise.
The programme does not cover visas. Flights, visa arrangements, accommodation and travel costs remain the responsibility of the guests.
What Is Included in the Dh3,000 Rewards Package
The benefits package covers hotels, attractions, dining and transport.
Emirates 24|7 reported that participating hotels offer discounts of up to 45 percent on stays, along with resort credits equivalent to 100 percent of the room rate at selected properties. W Dubai Mina Seyahi, The Westin Dubai Mina Seyahi Beach Resort and Marina, and Le Méridien Mina Seyahi Beach Resort and Waterpark are among the participating hotels. Meliá Desert Palm and IHG Hotels and Resorts are also taking part.
At IHG properties, guests can pay for two nights and receive a third night free. The group is also offering restaurant discounts of up to 30 percent at selected outlets.
Attraction offers include Aquaventure Waterpark, IMG Worlds of Adventure and Grand Hyatt Waterpark. Dining privileges are available at venues including Asia Asia, Ula, Papas, The 305, and Lock, Stock and Barrel.
Careem is providing complimentary Careem Plus membership along with transport rebates on Hala Taxi and other services.
DET has not published a full list of participating attractions. The exact package a resident receives can vary, and availability shifts over the course of the campaign, so individual offer mixes may differ from those listed at launch.
Dubai Tourism Numbers Behind the Campaign
The programme adds resident referrals to DET’s existing visitor acquisition work.
Arabian Business reported that Dubai welcomed 19.59 million international overnight visitors in 2025, a 5 percent annual increase on the 18.72 million recorded in 2024. December 2025 passed two million visitors in a single month for the first time. January 2026 also recorded two million overnight guests, up 3 percent on the same month a year earlier.
The campaign covers a 104-day arrival window from July through October.
Because residents submit guest details before travel, the nomination system gives DET visitor information ahead of arrival.
Residents with guests already planning a trip in the window can register them at no cost. The benefits package is issued automatically once the arrival is verified.
